From author Neemdog:
The card tricks that Lorenzo Cobo and I created together are some of my favorite pieces of magic ever. Period. These routines were built out of a deepening understanding of the art of magic shared by two people on the brink of enlightenment and discovery. Some of it is completely original, some is heavily inspired, but all was born out of a fulfilled love for our art.
It is our sincerest hope that you, in reading this book, experience some of the richness of our discoveries and find new footholds within your own relationship with the art of magic and with the world around you.
Remember that this art-form is one that is built to transcend the possibilities offered in daily life. We perform to deepen connections and understanding with those around us. Practice well, perform with all your heart, and you will find your world enriched with the closest thing we have to pure magic.
It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to Nine Black Cats.
"This is a work of art. A masterpiece laced with hidden gems."
- Daniel Madison
"Nine Black Cats is so much more than its binding gives it credit for. Neemdog has always been an intriguing thinker, and Lorenzo is proving to be the same. This book is chalk full of interesting ideas, philosophies, and routines, all of which leave me wanting to learn more. Well done!"
