Product Description
Four Aces. Four waves. One unforgettable visual. What if the Aces could actually surf across the deck?
Surfing The Aces is a visual Four-Ace routine by Japanese magician Nojima, where each Ace appears to ride a wave through the deck, traveling visibly from one side to the other.
The effect is simple to understand, highly visual, and incredibly satisfying to watch.
The Aces Ride the Waves
The routine begins with the four Aces being cleanly displayed face up.
You then give the deck a smooth, wave-like flip.
As the deck turns face down, one Ace visibly travels from one side of the deck to the other - as if it is riding a wave through the cards.
Then it happens again.
And again.
One by one, all four Aces cross the deck, each seemingly surfing a different wave.
The visual nature of the effect makes it easy for spectators to understand exactly what they are seeing. There is no complicated plot to follow - just four cards visibly traveling through the deck.
A Magic Moment Spectators Can Feel
One of the most special things about Surfing The Aces is that the magic does not have to stop with the magician.
After the visual moment, you can let the spectator take the deck and experience the effect themselves.
This creates a completely different kind of interaction.
Instead of simply watching the magician perform a trick, the spectator gets to hold the cards, experience the unusual movement for themselves, and become part of the magic.
That makes Surfing The Aces especially memorable in close-up and informal performances.
