Product Description
When Drawing Room Deceptions first appeared in 1999, it left a lasting impression on card magicians around the world. Now, more than 25 years later, Guy Hollingworth has teamed up with Vanishing Inc. and Mike Caveney's Magic Words for a long-awaited follow-up.Across nearly 300 pages, Guy shares a wealth of material from his professional repertoire, covering everything from ingenious card routines to intimate parlour magic. There are fresh takes on classic plots, including Hofzinser's Aces and The Universal Card, along with Card to Pocket, Story Deck, and much more. There are plenty of moves to practice, like his "Topless" Top Change, a false count that adds a palmed card, a new work on the Lateral Palm, but thanks to more than 500 photographs and Guy's detailed descriptions, you'll be well equipped for the journey ahead.
What makes this book so special is the breadth of material. Guy shares non-card material like a coin routine in which a single coin repeatedly grows in size, an inventive jacket holdout, his preferred opener for strolling performances, and a refined version of Professor's Nightmare.
With nearly 300 pages of clever routines, thoughtful insights, and detailed instruction, More Drawing Room Deceptions is a book you'll return to time and again. Discover Guy Hollingworth's latest work and add this long-awaited collection to your bookshelf today.
"Whenever I'm asked about my favorite magic books, Drawing Room Deceptions is one I always name. I've waited since 1999 for a follow-up, and it was absolutely worth the wait. I love it. I was amazed how much brand-new material Guy has packed into it. A must-have for magic and gin cocktail lovers."

My pal Guy's newest production, "More Drawing Room Deceptions," is a book so beautiful that even if you're not interested in the truly ground-breaking material presented therein or the author's droll insights into how he thinks about magic, I'd recommend that you buy it just to gaze transfixed at the breathtaking Daniel Netto photos. The book is an enduring work of art by one of magic's greatest living practitioners."
